About the Client

Sure Mobility is a Netherlands-based brand specializing in e-bikes and rental mobility solutions. Originally, they operated through a simple WordPress site used mostly for informational purposes. All orders were processed manually via phone — there was no smooth purchasing process.

To scale their business, Sure Mobility needed a fully functional Shopify store that could support both retail customers and business partners. 

Challenges

  1. Adapting an existing design to Shopify’s structure
    Sure Mobility already had a website design created before they decided to move to Shopify. The design was initially meant for WordPress. Our task was to stay as close as possible to the mockup while reworking it to fit Shopify’s native layout system and containers, and adapt it to the e-commerce flow.
  2. Two very different customer journeys
    Sure Mobility serves two audiences. These two groups needed separate experiences from the first click:
    – Direct consumers who buy e-bikes for personal use
    – Rental companies looking for partnership opportunities
  3. B2B pricing without Shopify Plus
    The brand needed to manage different price catalogs for B2B and B2C customers, display or hide taxes based on customer type and location, and apply quantity-based discounts — all without the built-in Shopify Plus B2B functionality.

Using a combination of the BSS app and a bit of creative development, Bandeira team engineered a hybrid pricing system.

  • The app dynamically alters B2C prices, including taxes and margins.
  • Default Shopify pricing is used for B2B customers, ensuring clean and reliable totals at checkout.
  • This “switched logic” allows Shopify to handle tax rules natively while the app manages margin-based adjustments.

For Sure Mobility, Bandeira team designed and implemented three distinct customer journeys — tailored for retail B2C buyers, B2B clients purchasing scooters, and B2B rental partners — to ensure a seamless experience for each audience segment.

In simple terms, we made Shopify act like a B2B-ready platform—without requiring Shopify Plus.
